Shipment limits

Goods are most commonly shipped on pallets, and specific conditions depend on the type of goods and destination.
How to pack a parcel?
If you are sending a non-standard shipment, it must be securely fastened to a pallet and protected against movement or tipping. Use sturdy straps, foil, or corner protectors. Toptrans may refuse a shipment that is not stable or at risk of damage. Keep in mind that the better you pack the shipment, the greater the chance it will arrive in good condition.
How to label and send a parcel?
Every pallet must be labeled with the recipient's address; the label will be attached at the depot. On the collection day, you will receive contact details for the driver, with whom you can arrange a more specific collection time window.
What is the insurance for TOPTRANS shipments?
Insurance up to 100,000 CZK is included in the shipping price. If goods are damaged, you must note the objection with the driver upon delivery and then file a claim according to the claims procedure within 3 business days. Remember that properly packed shipments are essential for being able to make an insurance claim.
How to send a COD parcel via TOPTRANS?
Toptrans allows sending parcels with COD up to 60,000 CZK within the Czech Republic and up to 2,000 EUR to Slovakia. You simply set up the COD when ordering - just enter the amount, currency, and account number where you want the money credited. Expect the funds within 7 business days from delivery within the Czech Republic and within 10 business days for delivery to Slovakia. The service is available from 139 CZK for the Czech Republic and from 199 CZK for Slovakia.

How to print a label?

What if the parcel exceeds the limit?
If the parcel exceeds the weight stated in the order but still meets the carrier's limits, you will pay a surcharge. If it exceeds the maximum limit, it may be returned without a refund.
When will my COD be paid out?
We will pay out your COD within 7 business days from the day the parcel is delivered to the recipient in the Czech Republic and within 10 business days for shipments to Slovakia. Once the COD is sent to your account, we will notify you by email.
Can I track the parcel during delivery?
Yes. After paying for the order, we will send you a tracking link. You can also see the status of individual shipments in your Shipment Manager account.
