Shipment limits

Balikovna has different limits for parcels submitted at the counter and those placed in a parcel locker. If the parcel exceeds the allowed values, it may be refused or subject to a surcharge.
How to pack a parcel?
The parcel must be securely packed, ideally in a cardboard box, bubble envelope, sturdy plastic bag, or a regular-shaped foil wrap (cuboid, cube, or cylinder). Secure the contents well so they don't move during transport. Sacks or loosely placed items without padding are not suitable.
How to label and send a parcel?
Print the shipping label at home and attach it visually and straight on the top of the parcel. The parcel can be dropped off at a drop-off point or a Balikovna branch.
What is the insurance for Balikovna shipments?
Insurance up to 50,000 CZK per parcel is included in the shipping price. It covers loss and damage during transport. If you want to make a claim, have the shipment receipt ready and file the claim directly on the Balikovna website within 2 business days. Keep in mind that poorly packed parcels may be excluded from insurance by the carrier.
How to send a COD parcel via Balikovna?
You can set COD up to 50,000 CZK. It is configured when ordering shipping - set the amount and the bank account number for the transfer. The money will arrive within 7 business days after the parcel is delivered. The service is available for shipments across the Czech Republic from 19 CZK.

How to print a label?
When sending goods via Balikovna, you always need to print a label and visibly mark the parcel.
What if the parcel exceeds the limit?
If the parcel exceeds the weight stated in the order but still meets the carrier's limits, you will pay a surcharge. If it exceeds the maximum limit, it may be returned without a refund.
When will my COD be paid out?
We will pay out your COD within 7 business days from the day the parcel is delivered to the recipient. Once the COD is sent to your account, we will notify you by email.
Can I track the parcel during delivery?
Yes. After paying for the order, we will send you a tracking link. You can also see the status of individual shipments in your Shipment Manager account.
